This GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program Privacy Statement provides information on the processing of your personal data as a result of being

GP Battery Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd, a company incorporated and registered in Malaysia with the registration number 417236-W and its principal place of business at A-05-3A, Level 5, Capital 1, No 2, Jalan PJU 1A/7A, Oasis Square, Oasis Damansara, 47302 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia; and along with its affiliates within the GP Battery Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd; and Gold Peak Technology Group, group of companies (Gold Peak Technology Group as the parent holding company).

For what purposes do we process your Personal Data?

We only process personal data of individual customers with your consent. For business customers we process personal data necessary for the participation of the relevant business customer in the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program.

We use this personal data:

• to enable you or the business you work for to participate in the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program and other GP Battery Marketing Malaysia promotions in particular in order to register or confirm your (or the business you work for) participation,
• to determine whether you fulfil the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program conditions or other GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program plus GP Battery Marketing Malaysia promotion conditions and
• to send you any updates, reminders, prizes, benefits and/or new announcements’. Depending on the circumstances, we may also process information on your participation in the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program and promotions, such as scores, rankings, submissions or prizes/benefits won.

What Personal Data do we process?

For individual customers: if you choose to participate in the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program and such GP Battery promotions, we process Personal Data in the following categories:

• Information that you provide to us – including your name, mobile telephone number, address, e-mail address, birthday and details regarding your vehicle, including your vehicle, model and/or year of manufacture, your contact preferences and information necessary for answering any security/validating questions.
• Information that we obtain through your participation of GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program. We will also collect information about how and where you use or purchase GP Car Key Battery product and/or services. In order to determine your preferences, GP Battery Marketing Malaysia may also combine your Personal Data held by affiliates of GP Battery Marketing Malaysia  including those obtained through websites, apps, coupons, surveys, promotions and other digital channels; along with purchases of customers with similar interests and supplemental socio-demographic information about you from third party sources in order to analyse your previous purchases and participation under the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program.
• Information that we obtain through your participation in the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program and other GP Battery Marketing Malaysia programs. This includes information regarding the type and description of the award you have chosen and the amount of points you have redeemed.

For business customers: we may process Personal Data about individuals who represent your business including private contact information (such as name, e-mail address, phone number, date -of-birth (DD/MM)) only if necessary; and business contact and other information (such as name of organization and your dealings with GP Battery Marketing Malaysia on behalf of yourself or the relevant business customer);
